ENH500 is an 802.11n 5GHz Wireless Outdoor Bridge/AP with speeds up to 300Mbps with 600mW power for longer range building-to-building or IP security camera deployments. From the Manufacturer The EnGenius ENH500 is a high-speed, long-range outdoor 802.11n wireless Access Point/bridge that operates on 5GHz band which allows it to avoid more prevalent and congested 2.4GHz wireless traffic. It complies with IEEE802.11a/n standard featuring MIMO antenna design with wireless data rate up to 300Mbps. The ENH500 features an internal directional antenna and even as it can be used as an outdoor Access Point is primarily designed as a point-to-point wireless solution for creating a wireless bridge between buildings in a campus environment or as point-to-point security solution when an IP-camera is connected to its additional Fast Ethernet port. The ENH500 includes a PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) injector kit for installations that may be remote to an available power outlet.
